I'm a software developer with an interest in SQL Server — working for a company based out of beautiful Bend, Oregon. We work out of a giant airplane hangar which is nice. We also get the pleasure of being on the eastern edge of the Cascade Range and we're right down the road from Mt. Bachelor.
Work
I'm also SQL Server consultant, responsible for administering large sets of replication topologies to support enterprise level operations. I have hands-on real-world experience in implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting some of the most demanding replication deployments.
Learn
I'm hardly a database administrator but I'm learning as I go. I have a bachelor of science in computer science from Washington State University, a MCITP: Database Administrator 2008 certification, and I'm a Microsoft Community Contributor.
Contribute
I'm kind of a forum junkie and can be found helping out on the SQL Server Replication Forum on MSDN, I'm one of the contributors there. Considering the time I spend doing that, I thought a blog about SQL Server Replication was in order. I'll do my best to share with you what I know and hopefully provide some bits of knowledge about one of my favorite topics.
